I love this bloomin thing but wonder at the cost and masterful workmen that will be needed. I am a good electrician and mediocre carpenter but hope I am up to this. I am used to square corners.

I lived in a dome for fifteen years and I have never been happier. My husband and I owned a dome cluster (45 & 35). I am a widow now and once again live in a traditional house. There is no greater comfort than what you feel in a dome. The structure simply envelopes you and makes you feel protected. I miss my dome and treasure every minute I was able to enjoy it.

I did not see a riser wall on your home. Our 45 had a 3ft.riser and the 35 had a 5ft. riser which allowed for lots of windows and sliders.

Enjoy your home.

I've just found this blog.., GREAT WORK!
I'd be interested to see hear and feel how you've finished / adapted to your dome in the last 7 years.
I'm contemplating building a 45'dome myself...researching how others have gone.
Is there somewhere else you've placed pics?
Warmest regards
Helen

I envy you guys! I should have built a dome 15 years ago when I built the house I'm in. Now I'm turning 51 and dont believe I can now. Enjoy it. You are blessed to be able to have it. ✌
